Sulla problematica dei prestiti Bizantini e Neo-Greci nei dialetti Italo-Albanesi

Abstract

This paper examines, for the first time, the problem of Byzantine and
Modern Greek loanwords into the dialects of the Albanian-speaking villages of Southern Italy and Sicily.
The author defines the periods during which these loanwords were introduced into the aforesaid dialects, and the consonant and vowel changes, these loanwords have undergone.
