Abstract

This study focuses on the bilateral context and attempts to establish the
course of Greek-Bulgarian relations and to identify the main factors that
shaped them from the eve of the Second World War up to the occupation of
Greece by the Axis powers. The role of the Great Powers is also taken into
account, given its catalytic importance during that period of crisis and painful decisions.
