Abstract
Bulgarian-Greek relations occupy an important place in thè demographie, economie and cultural-political development of the Western Black
Sea coast during the National Revival period, when it came out of the isolation
in which it had been for several centuries and the rôle and importance
of the local population rose extremely.
In our present páper we consider only Bulgarian-Greek church relations
and the place of the Gagauzi in their development up to Bulgaria’s libération
from the Ottoman rule.
