Περίληψη

This paper presents a plan for professional development of Headmasters high schools of secondary education in West Attica. This project includes the design of a training program, whose implementation begins by identifying training needs of Headmasters. Then proceed to the design of the program taking into account the relevant literature-themed articles, principles of adult education to create adult education at programs and the views of Headmasters for training programs related to their work. In light of the above conditions a methodological framework was formed, suitable for training Headmasters, including activities integrated in the planning stages, organizing, implementing and evaluating the program. In this context, taking into account the methodological framework design of the program and the positive mood of Headmasters for its implementation, we believe that the proposed training program can join and implement the annual program of the Regional Directorates of Primary and Secondary Education in Greece.
