Περίληψη

The modern view of teachers as individuals who construct their own personal theories of teaching contributed to the need to explore their beliefs and their role in forming teaching approaches. Teachers’ beliefs are now considered to be an important field, through which the teaching practices they implement in class can be interpreted and be understood. The purpose of this article is to determine the dynamic and interactive relationship between teachers’ beliefs and in class practices taking into account the broader social and institutional context of their professional development.
