Mothers often involve actively in school education of their children. They are some factors that affect this involvement such as mother’s education and her economic situation. The target of this article is the research of the relationship of those two factors with the grade of mother’s involment in school education of her child. 70 surveys were distributed and 53 of them were answered. The mothers that took part in the investigation had different education and economic situation. Their children were attending first classes of English tutorials in the Greek town called Salamina. The survey that was distributed is based on the same one used by Campbell, Connolly and Mandel (1986) and also used in Greek studies (Georgiou, 1997). The results show that are not differencies in the involvement between the mothers who have low economic level and those ones having tall economic level. The educational situation seems to affect the involvement. The results are important especially for mothers who have a chief role in their children’s education.
