Περίληψη

The professional development of modern teachers is strongly influenced by ICT training during their studies. Teachers’ familiarity in computers is a basic factor that affects their redefining role. This paper focused on student teachers’ training of nine Academic Schools of Early Childhood Education in Greece (Thessaloniki, Athens, Ioannina, Patra, Thrace, Aegean, Thessaly, Florina and Crete). Firstly, the purpose of this study is to categorize and analyze, systematically, the offered objects of reformed Greek Science Curricula of Early Childhood Education on ICT. Secondly, this paper presents the philosophy of these Curricula about ICT and whether Higher Education prepares, efficiently, the modern kindergarteners so as to diffuse and integrate ICT in education.
