Περίληψη

Drama in Education (DiE), an experiential pedagogical method, has being used in education to explore oneself and the world; however, during the last decade it has also been introduced as an innovative training method in other professional sectors for enhancing professional development. The purpose of this article is to present the evolvement of this dynamic relationship claiming that Career Guidance and Counselling would most benefit by introducing DiE as a group counselling and career designing method. Good practices to support this claim are provided, such as successful DiE experiential workshops at the University of Macedonia to address pre- and postgraduate students’ and adults’ professional skills development. Moreover, the first outcomes of an innovative ongoing PhD research on teenagers’ career skills development and career design through DiE are also provided.
