Abstract
The activities of the Allied Military Mission in Northwest Macedonia
in 1943-44 and especially those of the unit based on Mt Vitsi which was commanded
by Captain (later Major) P. H. Evans are reported from a series of
wireless signals and situation reports. The author who was in command of
the Mission in Macedonia for most of the period has added comments and
explanation. The article provides firsthand, primary evidence for the happenings
of those two troubled years.
