Abstract

Whether we want it or not Internet of Things (IoT) appears with growing
number of devices in our everyday lives. The entertainment and benefits of
such gadgets and systems are however unfortunately often accompanied by
risks and ethical issues of the use of IoT. There emerges an important question-
How society can mitigate the risks and maximise the benefits of the use of IoT?
The author approaches the question from the point of view of applied philosophy
and education and claims that also with the help of such disciplines we
can address the emerging probles of new technologies.
