Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Context of Satellite Remote Sensing New Dimensions and Challenges for the Law

...turning to remote sensing data being collected and processed by AI, the question arises as to what law would apply, since AI processing is a completely new kind of process. In particular, determining the place where the information arises (e.g., AI may conduct all the processing without being dependent on Earth) and ensuring the protection of sensitive data (as the information conveyed by satellites using AI is much more eloquent and precise that it was some years ago90) will be of key importance.
