Some Thoughts on Teaching International Humanitarian Law

Abstract

Learning and teaching are successful only if they are interdisciplinary. The limited number of International Public Law students and students of International Humanitarian Law alike is a physical phenomenon. The inability of secondary education that fails to provide students with the basic knowledge of the geography, history, philosophy and social sciences that are important for the legal student is only one reason.
