Abstract
On the basis of published and unpublished archival sources (in the Gorkis
Library in Odessa: Odesskaja Gosudarstvennaja naucnaja biblioteka im A. M.
Gor’kogo and from the State Archive of the Russian Federation in Moscow.
(Gosudarstvennyj Archiv Rossijskoj Federacii), the writer examines the poetry
of three Greeks of Odessa (Themistoklis Solomos, Yeoryos Haratsopoulos and
Aristidis Hryssoveryis) and comments on the historical events that are mentioned in their works.
