This paper presents data from the implementation of an innovative, interdisciplinary programme entitled “Museum and School” in Greek primary education, which aims at utilizing the museum and aesthetic experience in educational practice. The Programme was implemented using the action research method. Four schools in Attica (six primary schools of general education and two primary schools of special education in Athens and Piraeus) participated, that is, 770 students and 40 teachers. The rationale of the “Museum and School” Programme is the inclusive education of primary school students. The Programme adopts a universal learning design and proposes teaching practices and educational tools inspired from the fields of Museum Education, learning through Visual Arts and Information and Communication Technology for teaching and learning.
