Περίληψη
The use of ICT in the educational process has been a subject of study in recent years, particularly in the field of special education. This paper highlights the role of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) in Special Education and its use as a means of improving the quality of learning for students with special educational needs. More specifically, the importance of educational software for students with intellectual disability and students with Pervasive Developmental Disorders (PDD) is highlighted. In addition, three educational softwares, which are among the recommended by the Curricula of Special Education, are presented, relevant to the students studied in this paper. In addition, the teaching and pedagogical readiness of Special Education and Education teachers in terms of ICT use is analyzed. It is a fact that technology paves the way to a new method of learning regardless of the special educational needs, personality, abilities and skills of the students.
