Η αυθεντικότητα στην αξιολόγηση της γλωσσομάθειας.

Περίληψη

The notion of language test usefulness is expressed by Bachman & Palmer (1996:18) in the following way: Usefulness= Reliability-Validity+ Authenticity + Interactiveness + Impact + Practicality. The present paper will devote more time to the subject of authenticity In order to evaluate the language test in terms of authenticity we should examine the tasks and the texts, of which the examination material consists. Each task and each text of a test can be analysed through authenticity grids proposed. Two separate grids are proposed, one for measuring text authenticity and one for task authenticity, each one consisting of a series of criteria. Using these grids, a qualitative and quantitative evaluation of texts and tasks in terms of authenticity can be achieved.
