Περίληψη

The professors of the Faculty of Law- constitutional experts Saripolou and Kyriakou, members of the committee that drew up the draft of the Constitution of 1864, a few months after the Constitution had passed, brought back into publicity their views on education, mainly in matters that had remained open, so that the State would take the necessary measures to improve education. This research attempts to present not only their views but also their differentiations by means of a) the memorandum- answer of the former to a relative question put by the then Minister of Education Konstantinos Lomvardos b) an article of the second in which the letter and the spirit of the relevant to education constitutional article is being analysed.
