Abstract

This paper aims at exploring the way argumentative writing at secondary school level inGreeceis evaluated and assessed by teachers- raters. For this purpose, Toulmin’s argumentation model is adjusted to assignments given to the Greek students and implemented to analyze verbal protocols produced by raters.
