Περίληψη

The intention of the present study is to interpret the historical background the last few years and to show the new perspectives. Since 1936 the Comprehensive School was the main goal of the educational reform as apposed to a system that is characterized from social selection. There were various ideas for the joining of the education system and the solution was a middle level in between a first level and secondary level. The middle was then divided into two sections A und B. New Programs were constituted with the objective of leading 80% of the students toward the BAC. In order that this should be achieved the Comprehensive School should not be uniform or segregatory but it should differentiate. This differentiation will be successful if the first level of education prepares the child for future success in the higher level.
