In the present study, 360 school age children drew a man and a lady each. The mean height of the human figure drawing was estimated and the heights of the male and female figures, as drawn by boys and by girls, were compared. It was found that while there was no significant difference between the height of male and female figure drawings that boys drew, girls drew female figures significantly higher than male figures. The results of the present study were compared with the ones of other similar studies and possible reasons for these findings were proposed.
