Περίληψη

150 Greek student - teachers of 3rd and 4th year were surveyed in spring 1591, in order to uncover their attitudes and expectations in view of the European Integration, The questionnaire originating from Dept. of Sociology, University of Nantes (France) comprised 170 variables clustered around the issues of, a) the adequacy of students' information on European Integration, b) opinions about present and future influence on their personal, professional, cultural life, c) attitudes toward the other Europeans their ianguage5 and cultures, d) expectation and wishes about the future of the Integrated Europe and the role of Greece in it, e) altitudes on the state of relevant information and preparation of our country. The results revealed that fathers' occupation, seize of students community of origin, date of birth (older - younger), degree of interest and adequacy of related information, influence students attitudes and expectations, whereas sex did not. The surveyed population seems to be divided in two rather distinct groups: one pro European, the other not anti-European, but less enthusiastic. They have, in varying degrees good expectations and fears at the same time about their and our country's future in the EEC, based on emotional factors rather than on adequate information and rational considerations.
