Περίληψη

Aiming at a critical assessment of the role of the Pedagogical Science in the Greek educational actuality, retrospection in its evaluation course is being attempted. The main interest focuses in parallel at two levels: on the one hand at the impacts which the Greek Pedagogy received, as well as the mainstreams which were formed at each phase of development. Regarding the impacts, we have to point out first of all the domination of: German influences for several decades. Further to this, a gradual emancipation of the Greek Pedagogy from the German thought is being ascertained and we realize the appearance of elements not only from the rest European but also from the American Since it is an applied science, a critical assessment of its presence and its intervention ability in the Greek school reality and the formation of the various educational policies is being attempted. Both these points of view which were previously mentioned are being looked into through the role which the Greek Pedagogy played in the education of the Greek tutors at each phase of its development.
