Περίληψη

Children's views and ideas about various environmental issues have a prominent role in the field of Environmental Education. The present study includes ideas οf 136 children concerning sources, consequences and actions that could reduce marine pollution. The research conducted in urban and suburban / rural areas and participated fifth and sixth grade students. Statistical analysis produced significant differences among ages of children and between classes and areas of living. Notable misconceptions and alternative conceptions were also observed.
