Περίληψη

This article presents, the main difficulties faced by University students with special needs with regard to academic progress and social interaction. It aims to a review of support services provided by Universities in European countries and in USA. This paper addresses concerns about legislation since the statute does not guarantee educational accessibility for students with special needs in Greece. It is suggested that there is a relatively low incidence of research findings regarding social interaction between students with disabilities and their no-disabled peers. It is also suggested that there is a dearth of research and services rendered for University students with learning disabilities in Greece.
