Περίληψη

The aim of the present study was to investigate the education characteristics (academic achievement, absenteeism) as well as the family characteristics and the academic motivation of high school students who were expelled from school at least once.For this purpose 59 students who were expelled from school and 5') control students pair wished for sex and age completed the motivation questionnaire answering questions about family personal and school characteristics. Data analysis results showed that expelled students were not differentiated Iron control group with regard to a) academic achievement b) academic motivation c) both groups came from intact families. However, they have more absences than any other group of student
