Περίληψη

The aim of this particular piece; of research was to investigate the level of the mathematic knowledge of infants us well as the existence- of any possible relation between their mathematic knowledge and the socio-economic characteristics of their family (both parents" profession and educational level). T-test analysis and One Way ANOVA was carried out. The results showed trial the ability of infants to recognize numbers is the only one among the eight mathematic capabilities tested, which is affected by parents" socio-economic characteristics.
