Περιβαλλοντική γνώση των ατόμων με προβλήματα όρασης: μια ερευνητική προσέγγιση

Περίληψη

It is of great interest to approach the mental image 01 space mat a visually impaired has and to study the general function and orientation in his/her environment and to estimate the environmental knowledge. Towards this goal a research was conducted with the participation of blinds in Thessalonica implementing 2 methods. The first method is based to the answers of a questionnaire and the second to the experimental investigation through the description and design of elements found in space. Although the statistical sample of the research was relatively small on the other hand some basic conclusions were made regarding the knowledge of the shape and structure of their environment. A more analytical processing and study of the parameters can contribute to a future examination and coverage of the subject as well as to the development of methods towards the environmental education of blind people.
