Περίληψη

This paper inquiries the apostleship dimension of adult education, which has as a continuous and ultimate goal the achievement of a significant task: the integration of human personality. The analysis emphasizes the humanistic approach of adult education, as Carl Rogers and Peter Jarvis have explicitly described it. It is suggested that the humanistic approach of adult education is the one, which is functionally more appropriate in the framework of globalization. Globalization is considered as the alternative form of individual and collective development, which opposes the reasoning of globalization.
