The main goal of this piece of research was to investigate the beliefs of Cyprus primary school principals about their self-efficacy and how these beliefs affect their sense of burnout and trust they show towards teachers, students, and parents. A questionnaire was given to 55 primary school prin¬cipals in order to find out these views. Results indicate that these school principals have a high degree of self-efficacy which is positively correlated with regards to how much trust they indicate towards their students, teach¬ers and parents; further, this sense of self-efficacy is negatively correlated with the burnout they feel. Based on these results some suggestions are offered for future research in the area of principals’ sense of self-efficacy.
