Περίληψη

How do school principals allocate their time in today’s constantly changing environment? This question is the starting point of the present paper that deals with time management and specifically the way school principals use and al¬locate their working time during the exercise of their duties. In particular, the findings of the research were drawn from the shadowing of two principals, the one in an urban and the other in a rural primary school in Nicosia, Cyprus. Both principals were shadowed for a week. The data analysis reveals the main
which each principal allocates his/her time and a comparison between carried out. At the same time, the research findings are compared with ings of similar studies in Cyprus as well as abroad.
