Περίληψη

This paper discusses the usefulness of theoretical frameworks and models that have been developed for or applied to pedagogy with the use of ICT. Models are needed in research aiming to understand teachers’ pedagogy and pedagog¬ical practices when using Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). They enable us to investigate the potential of pedagogy with ICT and to eval¬uate current and future roles for teachers, students and the technology. A the¬oretical framework or model may lead the empirical research, but it may also be enriched/ modified in the light of research results. In addition, the range of models can be classified to facilitate selection of suitable models and to identify the need for further development or refinement.
