Περίληψη

The present empirical study examines the level of secondary education teachers’ commitment, compares the results between teachers who work in the public sector and their colleagues who work in the private sector and in¬vestigates the degree and the direction of some personal-demographic char¬acteristics (gender, age, working years, specialty, family status) influence their attitudes. For the collection of data interview was conducted in a sam¬ple of 51 teachers. The research concluded that the level of commitment of the majority of educators both of public and private sector is almost equally high and that none of the personal-demographic characteristics affects re¬markably its configuration.
