Περίληψη

In the present work we used the method of semi-structured interview to investigate the views of educators and educational trainers concerning the training needs of teachers who deal with health education. The results showed that within these needs prominent arc those of acquiring the dexterity of team handling and of using energetic learning techniques. Educators have a reserve of experiences which with the appropriate handling by the educational trainer can be utilized. The method of experiential education comes first in the preferences of educators and trainers. The issue of continuous feedback is of great importance. Finally the connection between health education and counselling is observed. The training in health education contributes to both emotional and professional growth of teachers.
