Περίληψη

School Advisors of Special Education are a small group of teachers who provide scientific and pedagogical guidance to school communities regarding special education issues. They manage serious issues of psychopathology and disability of students who attend a full range of pre-school, primary and secondary education. At the same time, they have the responsibility of extremely big areas with a large number of schools. This study shows the burnout of School Advisors of Special Education at high levels than other teachers of special education, in contract with their vast experience and their scientific qualifications. Strengthening the role of the School Advisors of Special Education, the interface with the institutions who design and product the Greek educational policy and above all, the support in terms of infrastructure, all of them seem to be extremely urgent.
