Περίληψη

This paper at a first level studies the issue of job satisfaction of Greek secondary school teachers, and more specifically is explored the degree of satisfaction from their profession during the period of economic crisis and subversive changes in education. On the second level attempted comparison with the previous survey conducted before the economic crisis (2009) and was related to job satisfaction of teachers. The survey was conducted in 2013 through a questionnaire and for the results used the statistical package SPSS, using both inductive and descriptive data analysis. The results in both surveys show that the majority of Greek teachers are not satisfied with the performance of their educational work within the existing Greek educational system. Their frustration rose during the economic crisis which emerged problematic aspects of the Greek educational system, depending on the choices of the official educational policy.
