Περίληψη

With the specific article is attempted the connection between the school assessment and the descriptive assessment which constitutes an alternative means or in other words an attributable technique of the student’s school record. Initially, is highlighted the connective extent of the descriptive assessment in association with the pedagogical function of the student’s evaluation. Furthermore, both the advantages and disadvantages of the descriptive assessment are presented through its implementation on the educational procedure by exploitating the relevant researches and the empirical data mainly through other European educational systems.  In the conclusion the basic characteristics of the greek school reality are described, which function inhibitively, as it concerns the implementation of the student’s descriptive assessment.
