Περίληψη

This comparative study, based on quantitative data, studied,with two questionnaires, internet communication and interaction between peers not attending the Integration Program of the Department of the School Classes E \ F grade (control group) compared with peers ( of the same grades) attending the Integration Program of the Department of the School, (experimental group).With the third questionnaire it was mirrored and investigated whether students who communicate and interact via the Internet, strengthen self-concept and selfesteem as compared to students who do not communicate and interact online with the use of tools such as different forums and facebook, chatting and special blogs.Alongside it was investigated whether students of both groups (in Section Integration and non studying in Integration Department) who use the Internet are different as regards self-concept / self-esteem. The main conclusion of the study showed that the peer groups of disabled children perform an important social function since they help the child to see the image of himself through relationships with peers. The present study shows that the way in which contemporary family socializes its members and the school educates students reinforce the role of the media and peer groups in the socialization of disabled children.
