Περίληψη

The aim of this research is to investigate the capabilities of Greek pupils of 9lh grade to study and explain the local architectural heritage in an interdisciplinary framework. The pa¬per presents the implementation of an innovative programme devised ad hoc as part of the environmental education, and the on going collaborate formative evaluation from cooperat¬ing teachers and the researcher. Finally the related leaching problems and learning achieve¬ment are discussed in relation to the conditions of the Greek educational systems and (he particular circumstances of the cooperating schools, In view findings, recommendations are presented concerning teaching interventions and organization of the curriculum.
