Περίληψη

This article aims to present the presentation of theatrical play in the classroom, by employing the method of inquiry drama. The selection of the aforementioned method is discussed in the first part. The second part focuses on the selection of an appropriate text, which in this case is A. Papadiamantis’ Murderess (Fonissa). The students are tasked –within the context of inquiry drama- with using and processing the basic structural axes and literary codes of the play, as well as the available original text. By assigning roles and improvising, they depict imaginary (in this context) situations, which progressively compose the structure of the story, scene by scene. The goal is to let students pose and answer important problems / questions, as well as take decisions regarding matters of morality and values.
