Περίληψη

Views of public schools teachers and headmasters of primary and secondary education in Peloponnese region for Total Quality Management. An empirical study

 

The TQM, as a management model with implementation in training organizations, can be a response to contemporary demands for quality and effectiveness of educational services.

The survey conducted from November 2012 to January 2013 attempted to explore the extent of application of TQM principles in public school units of Primary and Secondary education of the Peloponnese region. Among these principles is the comprehensive and systematic involvement of teachers and headmasters in decision-making within the school and class by taking responsibility and initiative.
