Περίληψη

The purpose of the present study is to examine the effects of flipped classroom on students’ attitudes and perceptions towards Mathematics. Ninety-nine 5th grade students, at four primary schools of Attica, participated in this study. These students were taught the fractions via digital courses within the framework of flipped classroom. Before and after the flipped classroom’s intervention, students filled out a questionnaire measuring their attitudes towards Mathematics and their perceived usefulness. The study showed that teaching using flipped classroom model resulted in a considerable development of students’ attitudes towards Mathematics, as well as of their perceptions of the usefulness of Mathematics in their lives.
