Περίληψη

The current study concerns the effectiveness of the teaching methods used by philologists during their teaching in co-teaching classes. The purpose of this study is to investigate the teaching methods used by philologists when there is student with disabilities in the class as well as their effectiveness. Qualitative research was conducted to answer the research questions and the method used to collect the data was the semi-structured interview. The sample of the research consisted of 17 philologists who taught in general classes of General Secondary and High schools of the region of Central Macedonia. From the conclusions turned out that philologists try to use teaching methods that adequately meet the needs of all students in a class. However, there are some factors which make it difficult to differentiate their teaching resulting in the marginalization of students with disabilities. In conclusion, the teacher is the one who, through the inclusive education, will remove the barriers and make changes.
