Abstract

This small research is based on the two elementary grades fourth and fifth each containing 21 pupils. The reason for doing this research is that I have found that pupils in Junior high and high school make errors in carrying out the four simple arithmetic transactions, especially when they have to use decimals.In my opinion in this paper we try to point out the reasons that cause students to make these errors and provides solutions to confront their mistakes.
