Περίληψη

The development of a single educational policy within the framework of the European civilization - and especially in relation to the new data of the dynamic procedures of the European unification and globalisation - constitutes a fundamental criterion of the formation of a common culture in the economic union of Europe. In particular, the new order of things, based on the linguistic, educational and cultural diversity of the contemporary societies, imposes the obliteration of differentiation and the formation of a new internationalized cross-cultural identity of the European citizens, who will be summoned to participate and decide together on their future within the context of the participatory procedure. According to the aforementioned, the article supports that the elimination of discriminations within the national borders and among different member-states of a structured regional entity will have to be based on the formation of a common thought and associated culture, which will lead to the deletion of mainly the social and cultural differentiation that may originate from the adoption of a single way of the educational modulation on a regional level.
